Xfinity TV app says subscription required


Xfinity TV app says subscription required

for the past two days I can't watch tv on the iPad app. I've been watching fine for the past year. I am subscribed to the channels I want to watch and can watch them on my tv. But when I select channels through the app on my iPad I get a message "subscription required ..." This is very annoying as I am subscribed. I've tried reinstalling the app. No good. What's up?

Do you get the same error if trying to watch tv through a computer at https://tv.xfinity.com/? That might show it is an account issue. If it works through using a computer, then something might be wrong with the iPad app.  Comcast might suggest uninstalling the app, then reinstalling.
