Xfinity TV app on macOS Safari uses wrong audio device

The Xfinity TV app on the latest macOS (Sierra) Safari with the latest Adobe Flash plugin for Safari does not properly honor the correct audio output device.  instead it caches the device the first time it is used and will continue to use that device indefinitely even though the user changes to a different audio device at a later time.  For example, if the internal speakers were the first device used and then the users switches to USB headphones, it becomes impossible to get audio output on the headphones even though macOS uses the headphones properly for all other applications.  Quitting Safari and restarting does not help.  The only way to solve the problem is to delete the Adobe Flash cache.  The problem does not occur with macOS Chrome, presumably because it has its own Adobe Flash plugin.  This has been reported in other emails but was marked as solved, and it is most definitely NOT solved.   Not sure if this is an Adobe issue or an Xfinity issue.

The problem started with the flash update on the 15th. Windows pcs are also having the no sound problem.
