Since updating to the iOS9 beta, the Xfinity TV app crashes on launch. I am aware that this is a beta and not all apps will work as expected, but wanted to report this as I hadn't seen it mentioned on any forums.
Just installed iOS 9 Beta 3 and the Xfinity TV app launches for says that i am Offline and to check to make sure I am connected to the internet. I am. Did a reset of network settings an no change.
Same issue as everybody else. The beta thinks you are offline. Even though you can add your device (in my case, my iPad Air 2), it doesn't show up in your authorized devices in the online My Account information (https://device.comcast.net/devices). App works fine on my wife's iPhone 6 running 8.4. Hopefully, Comcast is working on this and will have it fixed on time for the full release of iOS 9.
now they made a fix to their app and it cant recognize the network.. thinks the app is OFFLINE ! but if you switch off wifi and use cell it works ! really ???? does IT even test this junk ???
I have iPhone6 running iOS 9 beta latest, and TV App thinks I'm not connected to internet, whether I use Cellular only or Wifi only.
Can Comcast please respond. When do you expect to fix this issue.
