Xfinity TV Player Application won't Download Movies to SD Card

I'm trying to download content to the external SD card of a Galaxy Note II.  Instead the movie saves to the internal memory.

The application thinks it is saving to the external SD card per the "manage applications" screen which shows it using a lot of SD card memory and very little internal memory.  It is actually saved to the internal memory, though.

Any way to make the application save to the external SD card?

Thanks.

I would also like this functionality. And I had the same issue as above, android OS says it's saving to sd card but it actually saves on the internal memory. I even tried moving the app to my sd card but the app still saves movies to internal memory.

It's nearly a year later 08/2014. Has this issue been resolved? Because I can't find the fix, and the only way I've been able to free the space is by uninstalling the app. I don't believe Comcast wants people uninstalling their app due to memory space hogging and slowing down people's devices. I mean that's why we have external memory purchased to begin with right?
