Xfinity TV Go App says Device Full on 64gb ipad!

I have a 64gb ipad mini 3 with over 25gb free.  I have the Xfinity TV Go App installed.  When I try to download a TV show, it says: "Not enough free space exists on device to download this video. Please free up some space and try again".   I have several programs downloaded, but way under the 10 video limit, and loads of free memory.  All ipad memory is internal. There is some sort of bug in the software.

 

This makes no sense since 25gb is free on the device.  When I reinstalled the app, it worked at first, then have this problem over and over again. Any workaround?  Standard ipad mini 3, with original operating system.

 

Any solutions?

same issue for me, with 256GB iPad!
