I downloaded the Xfinity Share app on my iPhone 6 (plus), but when I enter my login credentials I keep getting a generic "Ran into a problem connecting..." (Error 11003). I have the X1 service at home, and the other mobile apps seem to be working just fine. One of my colleagues at the office (who also has X1 service) installed the app and is able to login and connect, so I believe the service is working here. Of course calling into phone support is a huge waste of time (not to mention frustration). I've tried un-installing and reinstalling the app, same issue. I know the password is correct (different error when the credentials don't match). Can anyone help? Thanks!
Sorry but for the Share App to work you need Triple Play with Voice Service
according the post comcastandrew made its error you receive if you do not have the correct comcast bundle to access the app. meaning you need at least a basic tripple play (xfinity tv, internet and phone services) if you do not meet those specifications you will receive that error
What would phone service have anything to do with this app? If it does, why not just state (anywhere) that it requires triple play in order to work, thus saving hundreds of people thousands of hours of frustration?
It doesn't matter anymore, it was changed shortly after release
