I have tried to install Xfinity player on my ipad. When I find the app, the install button is greyed out and will not install. The button says "Free" as other apps say, but it won't work. I then manually installed it through iTunes. It starts to install on the ipad, and when it nears completion, it literally disappears off of the ipad screen. When I go into settings, I see the software installed but it appears nowhere on the ipad screen. Any ideas why this will not seem to work?

I always click several times on home till it goes to the search bar and type its name like xfin
It shows up on a list.
This happens when you have too many apps installed
Strange thing is that even after I uninstalled it via iTunes - and then try to install it directly from Apps right onto the ipad, the Install button is greyed out and will not work. Can only ATTEMPT to install in through Itunes when connected to my MacBook.
It shows up when I search as Player
so you could search for Player
It also showed up when I typed xfin
I installed it directly from the app store, so I don't have that problem.
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately none of these worked. I tried it all again - uninstalled it. Tried install from App store, and again, the [Free] button is disabled and I can't install it. When I install in from iTunes it looks like it is installing on the ipad, then disappears as soon as it is installed. Then I search on all the options as you suggest, and it does not find it.
That's it!!!!! I don't ever remember seeing these functions before! You have no idea how frustrated I have been trying to figure this out. Excellent help. Thanks so much!
