XFINITY Videos will not play in firefox.

XFINITY Videos will not play in firefox.

I have tried to play xfinity videos through firefox on my best computer. The videos play through all my others without a hitch. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox. It doesn't make sense why it won't work on this one computer. I am using Windows 7 64-bit. The videos will play in Internet explorer, but I HATE internet explorer. Please help.

And I don't get any error messages, it just hangs like it is trying to play it.

The issue is something with Firefox that is conflicting with video playback. Do you have any plug-ins or toolbars installed in Firefox that you don't have in IE?

I have recently reinstalled FireFox. Doesn't that reset everything and delete the plug-ins as well?

It should but does not always delete all of them. Do you have any ad blocking plug-ins installed? Are you running any type of anti-virus software?
