X1 TV App Problems and terrible customer service...

I have just spent well over an hour, being transferred from general customer service, to Wireless Customer service, to "Legacy Box" Xfinity Customer Service, to which I finally asked, if I could just get a phone number to call someone. I reached the X1 Apps customer service line, to which I was asked at least 7 times if I was having issues with my iphone. Here's my issue. I have X1 service, I just got an iPad Air and I downloaded every Xfinity App known to man. They all work (TV Go, TV Remote, Xfinity Connect, etc) except the Xfinity TV App - not the TV GO app as I previously mentioned works (I explained this several times to the customer service reps as well...

The most ridiculous reason I got was that that app (that I downloaded from the Apple App Store) doesn't work on Apple products... Wrong, it is supposed to work on Apple products, mine just isn't!

Is anyone else having these issues? My problem has been escalated to Xfinity gurus, but after my last experience with the Xfinity X1 App specialist who knew absolutely nothing, I am not real confident...

Please help!

Do you get an error message? That app is for X1 with cloud service users only. You won't make it past the "looking for home network screen" if you don't have cloud service.

I gave up with customer service. I get run around and canned lines and no help. The app doesn't work..at least not for me. I just get the same ad looped again and again.

All apps work but can't download recorded shows. MANY attempts to no avail. Downloads start, is very slow, downloads to 99% and stops with error message stating "download interrupted". Comcast seems to be clueless on the matter. Extremely frustrated!

The app is broke, the only thing more broke is Comcast because there are 100s of post about it yet it seems no one at Comcast knows about it.  IT always says you are not at home even though you are sitting right in front of your TV, calling Comcast is usless because they do not even know what apps they have, they always assume you are talking about the to go app, idiots.  It is not you my friend the app is broke the only fix is to go to Verizon.  May be when enough people leave someone will figure it out.  IF Comcast has an issue understanding this, find an android phone, search for the Xfinity TV app(NOT THE TO GO APP) and read the da*n comments.

I HAVE CLOUD SERVICE< SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE, THE APP IS BROKE.
