X1 DVR Cloud Access

X1 DVR Cloud Access

Hello,

 

I am able to watch live TV via https://xtv.comcast.net/ but am unable to access my DVR recordings via the "cloud".  Any help or advice is appreciated!

you definitely have cloud dvr available. from a pdf that was available at one time proper codes are

 

Ensure the customer has proper rate code on the account: • Amdocs: F+3 • CSG: VS116

 

call 877-896-8678 and have them ferify the code on the account. Then if you have a cell phone install app xfinity X1 which will give you the terms and conditions to accept. then record a 30 minute show like tvland. when it has finished recording see if you can then watch it on the phone app or at xtv.comcast.net. let us know.

go to http://www.comcast.com/x1user?ex=True   http://www.comcast.com/x1 note and reply with the web site you arrive on (for example/x1user or /x1clouduser etc

The URL remained unchanged at "http://www.comcast.com/x1user?ex=True"

if you used the www.comcast.com/x1 and it changed to x1user it means you do not have cloud but then you should not have access to the xtv.comcast.net page then. would you retry that link and see if it remains x1user ?  if it does update to something else other than /x1user.. then at least the xtv should work.

Are you trying to watch recordings that you made previous to getting the cloud? They will not be available.  Have you tried scheduling a recording thru the https://xtv.comcast.net website?  Assuming you have cloud services available and turned on for your account, what happens when your scheduled recording starts?  Do you see it on the https://xtv.comcast.net/scheduled website with a red bar showing progress?  Do you see it on the https://xtv.comcast.net/recordings page?  Do you have the recordings page even available?

Thank you both for the help.  I ended up direct messaging one of the Comcast name's I've seen enable it on here and he did so.
