So I'm trying to watch the USA vs. Germany world cup game online and keep getting this message:
What's that mean and how do I fix it????
The game was playing fine, now nada.
I too was able to watch the first half without any issues of the U.S vs. Germany game. Now it won't play. Fix it comcast, I pay too much for this to happen.
Why did Xfinity decide to do updates during the USA Germany Match?! I cannot set a reminder, the recording on the X1 fails 65% of the time, and now I cannot watch on line.
What good is it? You are fast losing a customer.
Is Comcast serious? Only Comcast would have a 6 hour outage right when the world wants to watch
I watched the 1st half, but now the video is down. I'm missing the game.

It could be this instead of Comcast
It is a ESPN issue. http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/espn-video-streaming-service-crashes-during-usa-germany-world-c...
It's starting to look like queen-evie is a comcast representative under a different alias or something, we get no direct reply from comcast but we have a huge comcast supporter bumping every world cup thread. Do you have a reply for me? My cable / internet service all around became cripped directly at the start, and cleared at the end of the game. Any explanation for that one?
I am NOT a Comcast employee nor do I represent Comcast in any way. The only relationship I have with Comcast is the one in which I pay them big bucks every month so I will have Comcast services. That makes me a customer, and I like it that way-it leaves me free to criticize Comcast if I feel the need to do so and over the years I have done that a lot in this forum. If I were employed by Comcast I would have to toe the company line.
As for bumping, call it whatever you want. I simply provided what could be an explanation for those who were trying to watch ONLINE. The article clearly addresses ONLINE viewing. It makes no mention of TV viewing.
In case you haven't noticed, the topics I responded to are all in XFINITY TV WEBSITE forum, which covers ONLINE viewing and as stated that was what I addressed.
There is a different forum for TV viewing issues.
In no way did I state it was THE ONLY EXPLANATION.
In all the topics I responded in I did so BEFORE you posted in some of those topics.
