Wifi disconnects when using Xfinity TV on Desktop

It never fails. When trying to stream a tv show using tv.xfinity.com on my laptop computer, connected to wifi, the video will play for a bit then suddenly cannot stream. Suddenly my wifi says it has no internet service. I disconnect from my network and reconnect right away and all is well. Internet is working again and can watch the video again. After a certain amount of time the error happens again. This ONLY happens when using the Xfinity app, my service never drops otherwise (we use xfinity for our internet and the wireless router is an xfinity one). Why would this be happening again and again?

Having a similar issue. 

tv.xfinity.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

So, the DNS server connected through my Comcast Internet service can't resolve xfinity.com.

Anytime I have the patience to try and use the new website (which isn't often) I have to disconnect and reconnect my Wifi.
