Why did Comcast block DisneyXD and others from the Apple TV?

Just a few days ago I was able to watch DisneyXD and others through the apps on my Apple TV.  For DisneyXD I went through "watchdisneyxd.go.com"  I watched the new Star Wars Rebels with all my friends on my projector and big screen with all my friends last Weds.  I go today to watch the new episode because it's the weekend and I get an error message that my account isn't authorized for DisneyXD.   I assume it's an error.  So I sign out of my Xfinity account and try to re-activate.  It now gives me a different website to activate through and when I try it says that the servie isn't available in my area and to contact my service provider.   After a dozen or so calls and online support sessions I was told that they sent a signal to my cable box and that should fix it.  That I wasn't actually subscribed to DisneyXD even though its in my channel lineup...  That's its my wireless router causing the problems... That I should go to the "app zone" on my Apple TV and download the Comcast Xfinity Go app because that's the only thing Comcast has ever supported.     After being forwarded back and forther and all over I think I've figured out what has happened.   After Disney XD apps worked, Comcast decided to lock down any streaming on their network to their Comcast Xfinityy Go App.  Therefor taking service away from me because they did not have something in place that would work with my Apple TV.   My questions are.. Will comcast reimburse me for a device that will work?  This is for a home theater with a projector and 100" screen.  It's only used for movies.  An HD cable box in there would be a waste of money.  Will comcast give me another box for no charge so I can continue to enjoy my viewing as I have in the past.  Is Comcast developing an app for the Apple TV and can I get credit on my bill till Comcast makes up for lost service?
