For XFINITY cable subscribers with DVR service, you can now view and modify scheduled recordings, completed recordings and the priority manager from one convenient place within the App.
So where do I view completed recordings ? The DVR Manager screen only has Scheduled Recordings and Priority Manager, and it does show that there are recordings on my DVR by the % full meter.
ygor, on the first screen, right above Scheduled Recordings, you should see My Recordings which will show you your completed recordings. Do you see My Recordings?
Ok, I just updated the app also, the first screen is based on whatever last screen you were on when you left previously. the only way I see to get to scheduled recordings is to press "more" first then I get scheduled recordings and priority manager which is new. I can modify recording settings for new shows, I see no way to delete or change anything with shows already recorded.
After you go to "More", then "DVR Manager", if you have recordings on your DVR you should see "My Recordings". Under "My Recordings", you can select "Edit" in the upper right, then select a radio button next to the recording you wish to delete. At that time you should see "Delete Recordings" in red appear at the bottom of the screen.
Do you have recordings on your DVR and do you see "My Recordings"? If this isn't your experience, let me know and I can escalate to a Product Manager. Here's what you should be seeing (minus my kids' recordings)...
My recordings is not there for me or the other OP who started the thread. I don't know how to paste the screen shot in otherwise I would show you.
Any suggestions on why neither of us have that? Both dvr's are more than 50% full. Is there a setting on our account or anyplace else that needs to be turned on to allow this to work. I have not cleared cache but have restarted.
I looked into this further and this feature isn't yet available in all markets. As soon as this is availalble in your market the app will automatically adapt to show that feature. Sorry for the confusion.
Yes, sorry, that was my mistake. This is in limited release at the moment and will be availalbe to all customers soon. There's no definitely date on that yet but we'll let you know. We're updating the copy in the app store as well so there isn't any more confusion.
