What's with the grayed out shows in the TV listings?

Contributor

What's with the grayed out shows in the TV listings?

What is the reason for this? - can't figure it out. Can't be repeats as some of them even have the "New" logo inside them.

It's really annoying and none of the shows or movies they choose to gray out make any sense.

I realize they're all still clickable and function fine but it just looks strange.

Am I just missing something obvious?

Do you have any filters selected. See the FAQ (http://forums.comcast.com/t5/XfinityTV-Website/Troubleshooting-TV-Listings-Issues-Not-Loading-Incorr... for how to turn off filters.

Re: What's with the grayed out shows in the TV listings?

Dan - The listings are grayed out even in the Nashua NH Comcast office I went to.  Do they have filters selected??  The fact is, it's totally broken and no one from Xfinity is willing to fix it after people have been complaining about it for a year.

Filters cause channels that don't meet the filtering criteria to not be displayed at all.  It doesn't gray them out.  Learn how your own system works.
