Watching TV Online : Comcast Doesn't Function Properly Online

I have had a recurring problem with watching tv online on Xfinity. My house has both Xfinity internet as well as Xfinity tv. I have had to utilize the ability to watch tv online some of the time. On the old website there was never much of a problem, but now with the newer one, there are constant problems and they very seriously need to be addressed. Watching a television is never a problem at all. I have all of the channels I subscribe to. Recently my tv was broken while moving it downstairs which started the problem. After that I have been forced to watch tv only online. For the last 2 months, the website usually will not ever pull up all of the channels the subscription gives, often starting at channel 13 on the low end. This prevents me from ever enjoying programming on the usual major networks, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, all of which are on channels 2 through 9. When these channels are not listed it is impossible to watch any of them, and as of today they DID appear on the channel listing, but will not allow me to watch any of them, telling me that a subscription is required to watch. I HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION to watch these channels. They all work fine on the tv in the living room, so why can I not watch them online also?

I'm sorry your are having these troubles. I've refreshed your account which may help clean up any entitlement issues for your subscriptions. Also, if you have access to an iOS or Android mobile device, it would be helpful to know if the same issue exists or if this is isolated to web.

I am having the same problem. It just started within the past week. I get free basic cable through my apartment place which includes ABC etc... I hadnt had any problems watching my soap opera General Hospital online since I'm not home during the day time... but now it wont let me access it on their website and keeps saying I do not have a subscription. When I go to view my TV listings it only shows music channels and sports channels that I dont even watch and didnt even know I had. My TV listings are starting in the 500's and I have none of the smaller channels like 2 through 13 ish which I thought were my only channels. I can still watch these channels on my TV at home.

 

edit: I forgot to mention... I did watch one episode through TV GO on my xfinity account just the other day when it stopped working on their website. It shows that episode and that I watched it but now it will not let me access any recent episodes or work on their website. That was from the 9th.

Okay i just tried it from my phone to see what it says... and I think it has to be a login error as well as my TV listings being messed up. I got this when I just clicked to verify to watch:

 

Error:

A sign in error occurred:

Error code: 400-2. A sign in error occurred. Please contact us if you need further assistance.

 

And that's literally all it says. This was done via the ABC app. I'm gonna go download the xfinity TV one I guess and see if it works that way. But I doubt it will.

 

edit: the xfinity app is letting me access old episodes but not recent ones >.< Nothing after the 9th is listed. It's never taken more than a day/two tops for new episodes to be posted on the xfinity website as far as I remember... and even if it did, it never affected me being able to watch them on ABCs website... but now it is.

I'm having the same problem and haven't gotten it resolved yet.  I did what the "chat" person told me and they said it was re-set but I still can't watch any channels below 24 on my laptop or iPhone.

mine is working again now randomly. I have no idea when it got fixed because I just stopped watching my show for like a week. I hope yours gets fixed.
