Tv remote app (ipad) doesn't work

Then upgrade ios and app both, still not work.

Then del app, install app again, still not work

What happens when you try to start the app? Does it crash immediately?

Everything is good. Just can't change the channel and the there is no test text on the tv when i use the test function. Before it works fine.

go here and click on manage cable boxes and dvrs.  Do you have tv control enabled on that device???

It's off. Turn on. Not work.

I clicked "my dvr," . Tv shows "it not available or is currently disabled"

Can you check your Settings page again and see if it switched back to the OFF position. I have seen this issue before and that was the result.

Now, it is ON. 

And can not switch tv channels by ipad.

I tried installing the iphone app for comcast but it doesnt control. Checked the setting to make sure the TV control is 'ON'. Please help

I have installed the app on both iPad and iPhone. Both recognize the cable/dvr box. I have selected a television program. "Watch on TV" appears (no record option). When watch on TV is pushed the apple device sends request to the cable box and a response window appears the says; "Sorry! An error occured during this request."

 

Same on both Apple devices.

I am having similar issues. Have 1 DVr box 2 hd cable box and nod reg box. On my ipad, it only shows the DVr and non hd boxes. Use to show all of them, but for so e reason it doesn't show them anymore and I can't use my tv remote app on the hd boxes anymore. Looked in settings, the DVr and reg box shows on or off and cannot set them to on. The other two, which worked before, show a message saying they don't have the on/off feature. Did comcast turn off that feature without my permission? Looks like it as it worked before. Need help to get it to work again. Have tried deleting app, re-installing app, still not working. Also, I get the same error as person that messages in June when I try to set the off to on in the online settings window.

ComcastJoe, please help! Does not work for me after lots of troubleshooting! How did Luquis get it to work? Sure would be nice if he told us what he did.

I ran into an issue with the remote app. It worked perfectly for about 2 months and then suddenly quit. If gone through trouble shooting the app following steps outlined in a comcast forum. Still no luck. It's a really convenient and easy app. I like it much better than using the guide and traditional remote. Please help!
