TV on-line playback issues

Just started using xfinity to go on my pc (firefox browser).  No problems with shows from CBS or HULU but all others I have tried (e.g., NBC,FOX,ABC,HBO) get through the intro commercials then stop and just continue to "buffer" .  I get no error messages.   Have downloaded newest version of Adobe Flas, javascript and cookies are enabled. . .not sure what to try next.

I am having the same intermittent problem with streaming. Video quality drops then it pauses to buffer. I am on my 2014 iPad, using the app, Hulu and Netflix are streaming perfectly so it isn't a connection issue. It also only seems to be with certain shows and at certain times. Would love a resolution to this issue since it is a paid for service.
