TV Remote App not working (Apple)

TV Remote App not working (Apple)

I have the TV Remote app on several different apple devices (iphones/ipads). None of them change any of my TV's when I attempt to play an OnDemand movie/show. It always gives the following error: "Sorry! An error occured during this request".   No other information is given about the error. I've tried to use the app with my DVR and my other cables boxes, all without sucess.
