TV Equipment upgrade

I have ordered and received upgraded Xfinity TV equipment. Should I call Xfinity for someone to install it, or do they want me to do it myself?

They normally send a self-install kit. If you think you can, just follow the instructions. Since you are replacing existing equipment, you can generally just do one connection at a time, moving from the old to the new. Take pictures (and verify they are clear) before making any changes so you can put it back if you run into problems.

 

If you have issues, you can ask Comcast to send someone do it, but there could be a service charge.
