TV App Not Working

TV App Not Working

I'm new to Comcast and have a Motorola Anyroom DVR. I downloaded the Xfinity TV app on the my iphone and it recognizes both boxes I have, the anyroom DVR and a second box I have. But I can't record anything. There's no option to record when you go through the listings. Am I missing something here?
