Stuck in "Starting playback"

Stuck in "Starting playback"

Why when I spend all this money every month on comcast service can't I talk to a technician? I have been to comcast tv I don't know how many times in the past week, and only once have I gotten to actually see anything. The computer keeps getting stuck in "starting playback." How do I fix this?

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

 

Also, please send the URLs of the videos that you are trying to watch.

Also, it seems that Breaking Bad's always stuck :http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/tv/Breaking-Bad/96341/2266677612/Dead-Freight/videos Last night I was able to watch Grim without any problem.

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Doesn't run in Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer. Still getting stuck in "Starting Playback."

Do you have any anti-virus or ad-blocking software installed?

 

Also, make sure that you are letting "www.xfinitytv.com" and "www,xfinity.com" to pass through your firewall.

I too am having this problem.   I had previously been able to watch TV shows on demand but now it is stuck in "starting playback".  I tried it on 2 different computers and 3 different browsers.  Shouldn't this be compatible with the most recent updates?  I  saw one recommendation to uninstall and go back to an earlier version.  Please provide another solution that is more workable.  Thank you.
