Stream keeps stopping every 20 seconds, over and over...unwatchable

Why does the movie I'm trying to watch on my iPad via the Xfinity app keep halting, pausing every 20 or so seconds? It makes the movie unwatchable and the experience horrible. Note: I'm at home, 10 feet from the router with full Wi-fi strength according to the iPad, and my internet speed is 100 Mbps. The problem would seem to be on Xfinity's end with the app. Terribly frustrating.

One thing I do want to make you aware of is that this app is compatible only with iPad 2 or later and iOS 5 or later. You only said iPad so I am not entirely sure which version you have. Here is an article with an overview of the app

Here are a few things you can try:

1. Quit the app

2. Uninstall the app. 

3. Restart your device.

4. Reinstall the app. 

5. Try to play content again.
