Sorry, we're having some trouble deleting your recording(s).

Why can't I delete old recordings?

The web site says I am at 87% full, but my DVR says 28%.

Re: Sorry, we're having some trouble deleting your recording(s).

Two questions for you.

  1. Can you play those recordings that only show up on the XTV portal, or are they just broken links?
  2. Have you tried deleting them from an Android or iOS device using the Xfinity TV app? If so, do you get the same error message?

Also, if the shows are playable, what happens if you play the show, then drag the show slider all the way to the right to let the show finish?  Does it ask you if you want to delete the show?  If so, does it then delete it?  It would be interesting to see the results.

!.  I can't play them with either the web site or with the xfinity TV iPhone app.

2.  When I try to play them with xfinity TV, I get the same error message as the web site:

Error 100.primetime,Error.500-stream

Well, then it definitely looks like an X1 engineer has to get involved.

It seems like a reference to the file has been left on the Cloud site, but no file actually exists.

One of my pet peeves with the XTV portal and app is no "more than one option" for deleting shows. I can do it from the DVR manager website, but sometimes I get shows that record to the cloud only, so they don't show up on the DVR manager website.

Sorry, and good luck.

I am having the same exact problem! Except that it moved shows I have previously permenatly deleted back into my X1 webpage and I cannot delete them. There's at least 20 shows!
