Screen says I don't have a DVR compatitble Box for DVR manager?

Screen says I don't have a DVR compatitble Box for DVR manager?

Checking DVR Manager and the online screen says Comcast cannot detect a compatitble DVR and we have two Digital Boxes and full service.  ???   What's going on here?

Having the same issue. We have two DCX3400. The DVR Manager and iPhone app used to work with these boxes, but when I tried to schedule a recording this afternoon, it no longer recognized my boxes.

Try unplugging your box for a minute or so and then plug it back in.

 

I suggest you do this before you leave the house or before you go to bed. It takes some time for the grid to fully load and for the cable box to fully sync back up again.

 

After you have done this, please try again and let me know the results.

I tried it and I am still getting the same message on the DVR Manager: "DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household". Not sure why it stopped working or when they stopped working with DVR Manager. We have had these boxes for nearly a year and I set them up on DVR manager as soon as we got them.

DVR Manager is expected to be available to all of our Scientific-Atlanta and Cisco branded DVRs by the end of the year.

 

We have already started the site by site activation (DVR Manager requires some additional new guide software and some infrastructure to be activated).

i had a sci 8300HD DVR and it used to work.  then i swapped out my box due to the old one making too much noise.  now this new one doesn't work.

 

i know you say "by the end of the year" which is fine but nobody has been able to explain how it worked just fine when the old box of the same model worked just fine.

I am sorry, I misread your post. I did not know that you replaced your old box (SA8300HD) with the same make and model.

 

What day did you connect your new DVR box?

tuesday morning.  and it shows up under myaccount.  new serial number and everything.  so i can say its not an issue of it being recoginized by comcast.
