Roku app error getchannelmap.400

Roku app error getchannelmap.400

My roku xfinity app has been working well for months but as of Saturday began giving an error [getchannelmap.400] whenever I press live TV button or Browse button.  I can stream live TV through the app on my tablet.  I have made sure Roku is up to date, uninstalled / reinstalled Xfinity app on roku, logged off and logged back on and restarted router multiple times.  Any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Roku app error getchannelmap.400

I've had this exact same issue for two days now. I can stream on my phone and computer, but on the Roku I can't watch live TV or anything on demand. It won't even load the guide. I have tried everything you have: reinstall app, sign out/in...nothing works.

One additional note is that for some reason I am still able to watch my recorded shows from the Cloud DVR using the Roku app, even though I can't stream live or on demand. It's all very strange and extremely frustrating. Someone please help.

Hi kdstredde,

Are you still getting the error code on your Roku?

Re: Roku app error getchannelmap.400

I am also getting the "getChannelMap.400" error on my Roku app. I have two Rokus -- a Roku stick (3600R) and a Roku Ultra -- and both are getting the same error. I tried to send ComcastChe a message, but I couldn't figure out the messaging interface on this error appears when I click on Live TV or Browse. I can search for programs, but after clicking on a search result, it will bring me to the information page for that show but then never fully load and doesn't allow me to start any show.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Rustyben

Thanks for that info. However, I'm in my home internet network while trying to use my Roku, so I don't think that is the issue here. Maybe I should try rebooting my modem to reset the connection to Comcast. I'll try that tonight.

Re: Roku app error getchannelmap.400

I'm using it on a Roku T 7106X

Same 400 error on channel list. I don't think the app was ready for this aggressive marketing campaign with telemarkers.

Are you just trying to see how many people you can get to signup to decide whether to spend money fixing the product?

Also crazy that the web app was developed in flash. I mean that is awesome..

Rebooting my modem did not fix anything.

Re: Roku app error getchannelmap.400

on my Roku, after activating, i can get to the home screen now.  When i click live tv, or pretty much any other option, i no longer get the getchannelmap.400 error.  i now get a OK button, that doesnt seem to do anything,  it just takes me back to he xfinity home screen.

logout of the app (channel) and in th eroku menu highlight the xfinity channel and hit the star (*) button on the roku remote. remove the channel. unplug the roku device from power and after 30 seconds or more plug back in and reset up the channel. working now?
