I cannot back up a program I am watching. A circle with a line through it appears when I try to rewind the program

Are you watching a show online or On Demand?

 

If online, what show are you watching? Please send the link so I can further look into it.

 

If On Demand, the ad models in the free VOD vary by network and sometimes by show. Some of the content has fast-forwarding disabled while others provide full control over a video. CBS and NBC shows have fast-forward enabled, while for some ABC and Fox shows fast-forward is disabled. Please contact the network directly to voice any concerns you have on this issue.
