Resuming Played video

Unable to resume videos using the xfinity ios app on iPad or iPhone 

 

If the app is closed or u switch another apps - attempting to play resumed video... takes u alllllll the way back to the start of the video 

 

Not sure if this is only user supported but its worth a try to reach out and see if anyone else has the issue

I also have the same problem with the PC-based xfinitystream app.  This has been going on since around Oct. 2016, when they replaced the tried-and-true app with the terrible app designed to work on a multitude of devices.  I have contacted xfinity through the on-line chat feature and the tech had no clue how to fix this - he said that it might be corrected in the next update of the app, but I have waited months, and there is no improvement.  You would think that a big company like Comcast would not release a replacement app until it was capable of doing everything the the previous app could do.
