Remote DVR service -- MY DVR

I just picked up a Cysco RNG200 HD DVR. The local Comcast site said this is the only addressable DVR they have that works remotely.Even though the MY DVR service is available in my area (Sarasota Florida), the DVR is not recognized through Xfinity TV App or from my computer through the My DVR website. I have had the DVR installed for six hours. The DVR works fine and the on screen guide displays correctly. Is there a delay for the MY DVR serice to take effect? Any other idea as to why I can not control the DVR from the App or my computer? Thanks.

It can take up to 24 hours to fully sync. Please reach back out to me if you are still having issues after the 24 hour period has expired.
