Remote Access DVR issues



Just yesterday I received a new box (old one was having issues) and I'm trying to set up the remote access so I can control recordings and change channels via my iPad/iPhone. However, after following all the steps in the DVR Manager I come across this message after selecting my channel listing:


DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are 
unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household.


I've called support and after being transferred 3 different times and a two hour call, no one could give a solution except that they will have someone take a look at it. They did mention that my box is compatible; I also have the remote access options on my cable box and I'm able to generate a code.


Could someone please confirm if my new box is really compatible or if it's an account issue. I have a Motorola RNG200N. The sticker on the bottom says DCX 3501.

I'm getting the same message, but I didn't change boxes.  I moved to a new house, and now I'm getting this message.
