This video cannot be played.

We have detected a problem with your Microsoft Silverlight installation  (Error 634). To fix this problem please uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Silverlight.

This is the web address from which I tried to connect to stream live tv from CNN but then got the Error 634 message.



I use Windows 8.  And I tried loading the from the Desktop view as was suggested but it still didn't work.  I also re-installed MS Silverlight.  Although it installed successfully, I still get the 634 error message.

Any solution of the error 634 message?  I emailed you the web site address where the error message occurred.

For a year I tried repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling Silverlight manually.  Finally, after being pointed to the Netflix site for a similar problem, I used Microsoft's automatic "Fixit" tool, and it worked!




Click on the Fixit icon and watch it uninstall/reinstall Silverlight.  Don't know what it does differently than a manual uninstall/reinstall, but it works!  WooHoo!
