Can't change the channel or record programs from my iPhone and iPad. I am signed into my account and I have selected my DVR box...help!

click the link below and then in the middle of the page click on manage cable boxes and devices.  Make sure the tv control radio button is selected.

that was fas first you can record now you cant?

 

Make sure when you click that link you see your cable boxes there.   Also what cable box do you have??  when you downloaded the app did it find your boxes and did you send a test signal to the tv to see if it was working?
