i am trying to watch xfinity tv on my mac lion.  I have downloaded silverlight several times. however. when I try to watch tv, the screen says to download silverlight.  Called comcast and am told to check with apple.  Now that is baloney.  Any ideas...thank you

Works fine on my Macbook running 10.7 Lion. Run the Silverlight uninstaller, restart. Download latest version, restart. With no browsers running, Install. restart and try again.

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

Also, please send the URLs of the videos that you are trying to watch.

When you uninstall and reinstall silverlight, make sure you're getting the version of silverlight from xfinitytv (try to watch the offending video with sliverlight uninstalled and the link will show up) not from microsoft. They're slightly different builds and I've seen it make a difference on macs before.
