Problems with Pausing Streampix and other VOD's

Whether it be on my new Samsung TV, iPhone, or Andriod platform, I have the same issues:

1. when you pause any VOD when watching the Samsung, after 30 seconds in pause mode, the video is stopped, it returns to the main VOD menu, and when you try to 'resume' the program you were just watching, it starts over from the beginning. Have Netflix, so I know this is possible. Why this function is setup like this is beyong me - quite irritating.

2. when streaming VOD services on my Andriod phone, iPhone or tablet, I cannot pause any VOD.

3. when streaming to my PC, I only have intermittient pausing capabilities.

 

Any troubleshooting information/hotfix would be greatly appreciated.
