Problem setting up online access control on new DVR Box

I recieved a new HD DVR Box today replacing another HD DVR Box.  I had the DVR setup to change and record channels on my computer and iphone.  After changing boxes I can not get the service to activate on the new box.  The new device shows up on my iphone app and computer and the old device is no longer listed.  I set up the access control on the setting page of the DVR.  It gave me a temporary code and told me to login to activate it.  Evedently it is not activiating.  Any suggestions?

It can take up to 24 hours to fully sync with the new box.
