Poor or no sound with xfinity on demand

With growing frequency, playback of xfinity-on-demand shows is compromised by poor sound quality. Audio will run fine for a minute or two, go scratchy, then drop out entirely. The only temporary fix for this seems to be pausing the show or stopping it entirely and re-starting.

I've unplugged, restarted and/or rebooted what can be unplugged, restarted and/or rebooted.

Anyone know what gives or how to fix it?

I am having same exact problem. DCX3400 DVR program does not seem to make a difference

We are having the same problem, it's so annoying!

same problem with all of you so far. Sound goes scratchy then cuts out completely. Some days are worse than others. I was told there was an issue in my area(Jacksonville Florida)But I was not given any additional info for the fix
