Phone lines not working!!!

Phone lines not working!!!

I posted a message two days ago on this site and I'm still waiting to hear back from you people. My phone lines aren't working and I even went into town and bought a new phone just to be sure that wasn't the problem. But I'm still only getting static. I'm unemployed, job searching, and need to have my phones working...Respond to this or I'm concelling my service!!!!

Hi,

 

You are not talking directly to Comcast here, this is mainly a user to user forum.

 

Have you tried a quick 2 -5 sec press of the recessed reset button on the back of the modem/gateway, using a pen tip or whatever? Give it time for the lights to settle, see if that helps.
