Shouln't I be able to access my dvr recordings from these two sources?

 

All I'm seeing on either app is "Recently Watched", "Recent Channels", "Popular TV Shows" and "Popular Movies"

Yes if you have the X1 platform and have Cloud enabled on your account.  The Cloud Rate Code must be requested from Comcast and then you must agree to the terms & conditions before it will become active.
