No compatible cable boxes were found

No compatible cable boxes were found

 I just installed a new Cisco PVR to access the box from web and iPhone, but I get the message "No compatible cable boxes were found..." Whats up?

it takes a few days for your account to be provisioned with a new box, then it takes a few days to get the dvr manager working with the box. 

 

Dvr manager is only available to motorola and pace boxes.

Are you still seeing this issue? What is the model of your Cisco box?

I am also getting the " Sorry. No compatible cable boxes were found in your household."

 

This is just set up the "change channel from your PC."

 

Called customer service, but they couldn't help. They said they needed to sign in as me, but I did not want to give up my password. So now they said they couldn't help me.

 

I have Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250 HDC

 

One note this cable box will not support HDMI, we have to use composite cable to connect to our TV

I am sorry but your box is not compatible with Remote Tune. Call your local Comcast Service Center and see if any compatible boxes are available in your area.

The DVR Manager is not yet available in your area but should be soon. You will be notified when your area becomes compatible.

Why does it say that it is available in my area and I'm not seeing that menu either?  I keep getting the error that there isn't a compatible box in my home but when I call customer support they say that the box should be compatible.
