New dvr, remote app won't record now

I recently had my dvr replaced. The remote app on my iPad worked great with the old dvr, but now I can't record. I can change channels, but there is no record button. I have gone through the remote setup procedure on the box, even deleted and reinstalled the app. The online section just keeps displaying "syncing". Ideas? I don't want to spend hours on the phone trying to find someone that can help.

I thought Comcast support would reply here. Still can't schedule a recording from the mobile app on this new dvr.

Looks like it is working now. Don't know why.
