Maximum downloads stuck at 7 instead of 10

I used to be able to have 10 shows downloaded to the xfinity TV app, but now when I am at 7 shows and try downloading, I get an error saying maximum number of shows have been downloaded. I know it is not a space issue on my tablet (all 1/2 hour shows, no new apps on tablet, had previously had multiple hour long shows on tablet).

 

I suspect the problem is somehow related to this situation: I was watching shows while offline (no internet connection), and (out of habit) tried to "return" the three shows I watched. Can't recall if there was an error or if the shows just disappeared or not (this was a few weeks ago). The shows do not appear in my downloads any more, and I was able to eventually delete them from the DVR, but it seems like my tablet still has the licenses for these shows.

 

Any way to get around this? Have not tried re-installing the app or deleting the table from "manage devices" and would hope there's another way around this.
