Major playback errors

Major playback errors

For the last few days, programs are not playing properly on either my iPad or Galaxy S6. The recording list shows, but when you play, the video flashes, the audio skips and I often see color bars (!?). This does NOT happen when I watch the programs on the DVR. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app on both devices, but there is no change. Anyone else having this problem? Any Comcast/Xfinity opinion?

If so, send feedback either through the Xfinity TV app (Menu - Gear Icon (settings) - Help - Feedback) or through the XTV web portal (https://xtv.comcast.net/) (FEEDBACK link on lower left of page), and tell them about the stuttering and pixelation issue. Make sure you tell them what show(s) it was happening on.  Otherwise, I don't think the forums will get much attention.

 

The more people that complain through the app with negative feedback, maybe they will fix the problems.
