I keep getting error 1106 when watching a movie onlne.

Me too, watching on an Android device. Nothing. Anywhere. Their Facebook support doesn't respond. I'm not even gonna try to call customer support. They pimp their X1 box and triple/quad play everywhere, but are COMPLETELY ABSENT when it comes to ACTUAL SERVICE AND SUPPORT.

I get the same error.

 

Why is there no official solution to this?!?! It is crashing my computer also!!!

All the "answers" so far have been busy work. Uninstall reinstall. Turn it off and on again. WHY WON'T SOMEONE AT COMCAST TELL US WHAT THE H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS 1106 MEANS!!!!?????

It happens on ANY on-demand TV content, and any live TV content.

Id like to speak a bit about this. This problem seems to persist, but only on certain streaming channels...Channels like CBS seam to stream fine, while channels like AMC constantly have this problem. I am going to try and compile a list of channels that seem to be having this issue, and the ones that seem to be free of it. I would appreciate it if anyone can do the same...list the stations that are giving this error, including movie streaming stations. That might help identify the problem.

Just as an addendum, the streaming error screen lists "PRIMETIME_HLS" as the streaming channel.

Error 1106 is a user state that occurs when a Playback session is not found in the DB during a heartbeat for a given device and household. 

The quick fix for this is to restart/resume the video. 

If that doesn't work, an advanced technical team would need to review.

They would need to know when you see this error, if you have specific programs that this happens on, and what devices you're using when you see this.

Except refreshing a movie 5 times isn't not practical by any stretch of the imagination.  This is happening no matter what OnDemand content we watch.  It was worse during Cutthroat Kitchen, but it's happening several times during movies, too.
