Help with Anyplay

When I press the Anyplay app on my iPad, I get an error message that I am missing Anyplay device.
Then "no streamer detected from account"
Any help with his I want to avoid calling up Comcast.

I found another post which says delete the app, then download again. Appears to work, so give it a try.

well first thing I guess to ask is do you have the anyplay device hooked up to your wireless router and you are subscribed to the service?

On the new AnyPlay app there is a gear on the upper left for getting to the settings.  Tap on the Device Diagnostics icon and it will show if you connecting to the AnyPlay box.

 

If you not connecting, then post the status of all LED's on the AnyPlay box.

Thanks, I had a feeling I need a device, as the error message said I was missing the device. I thought since I had the service, (a call to Comcast told me I had the service, they forgot to mention I needed a device) that if I downloaded the app, my modem would do the rest. Just hoping. That's for the help.

Beside getting and installing the device, you will also get hit with a $10 a month fee for the AnyPlay service, plus paying $10 for shipping.

 

I have it, but it is not worth it.

Thanks for the critique. I thought I was getting it free, but for what I read it does, anything they charge you would be too much.
Having the ability to watch live t.v. from my laptop and iPad, should not cost anymore then the two hundred plus dollars a month they already get from me.
Plus I have a Comcast tech. at my house Atleast TWICE a month!
But I lived in Portand, Oregon for thirteen years and saw a tech. twice. Yes, twice in thirteen years. Now, I move to Nashville and have been in this house I just bought for five months and I have had, seven techs and one coming Tuesday. What is that about??

Any Play app crashes on ios7

I just upgraded my iPad to IOs7 and now the Any Play app crashes. It opens and begins tuning the channel, but then closes.

Anyplay Device and IOS 7 crashing

Anyplay is not working with IOS 7.  Launch the app and it crashes on my iPad.

 

What is happening to fix the problem?

Delete and re-install the app resolved the issue.

I upgraded my iPad to iOS7 and now the anyplay wont work. I have gone into the Apps to see if it would upgrade and it just shows open.

When I open the anyplay icon and put in my password code it goes out of the app.

Please help?

Never mind. I deleted the app and re-instaled it. Entered my information and wow, it works!
