I have an iPad and so does my husband. I was wondering how can we both log into HBO GO at the same time.

You certainly can.  I just tried playing an HBO program on my laptop and a different one on my iPad -- both using my primary Comcast login.

This can also be done on our Xfinity TV App. The Xfinity TV App also has other premium content like Showtime and Starz and some basic cable channels like TBS and TNT available to watch on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.
