Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

I can't playback any saved programs from Chrome Version 57.0.2987.110 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Home V1607 OSB 14393.953 desktop flash V 25.0.0.127.  I was playing content as of yesterday but receiving the following error today, Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError.  I can playback the same content on the same computer in the Edge browser.

What is the resolution?

Has anyone experienced this same issue?

Sorry you (and others) are having trouble. I've heard that some customers are able to resolve by clearing their local storage in Chrome.

I am having this issue on EVERY browser. Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. I have the lastest version of Windows 10 and an acer laptop and everything was working until I moved July 1st. I have called customer support, the comcast engineers have even worked on the problem, no luck. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

Moved?  Moved where?  What is different now from where you were before?

I moved less than three miles away from my apartment into a house. I rent my modem/router from comcast and had a comcast guy come and set it up at my new place. Didn't change my service or anything. I can access streaming through the app on my phone, just not the actual website. Except the location, nothing has changed. The issue is on all browsers, in all locations, connected to any internet, on any computer.

splicin, this sounds like an issue with the transfer of your user ID from your previous address to your current address. I've seen your private message. We'll continue there.

Hi

You are reporting a different error than others on this thread (the thread is about 3322; you're getting 3313). 3313 occurs when the DRM subsystem (the part of the player that's responsible for protecting the content) cannot write to the file system. Please make sure that your user directory is not locked nor on a volume that is full or locked.

Re: Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

This WORKED!!!

My Chrome Userdata directory suddenly was checked to 'Read only'.

I unchecked it, and wala! it worked!

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Google\Chrome\User Data

Is the directory you have to take read only off of...

Thanks

The error you're posting about is not the one mentioned in the subject of the thread, FYI. Thread is about error 3322; you're getting error 3370. Make sure the Allow sites to play protected content (recommended) setting is ON at chrome://settings/content/protectedContent.

Re: Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

I just got a new macbook pro and the new computer is getting the same error discussed above (Error ftde.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError).  I am unable to stream using Safari either.  I tried to follow the suggestions given but since I have a mac, I am not having much success.  Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue for Chrome on a brand new macbook pro?

Re: Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

9 months later and this error persists.  Comcast obviously is clueless how to make this Stream porogram, which crashes every few hours, and has been in beta a year and a half, work.

Right now I can start it in Chrome with no error, but Firefox and Edge which worked hours ago, get this error:  Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

Maybe Comcast should hire a few ATT techs?

I'm on a MacBook Pro running the latest version of Chrome and have the same issue as the original post. Any solutions besides reinstalling and clearing?

if you are not getting that error because you are outside the USA...it is a national problem but seems to affect the northeastern states area more often. Comcast has not give an estimated time of repair.

Re: Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

Have been getting this Error ftde.xact.3322.1000136 error for weeks now.

It only happens on Firefox, the streaming works on Chrome (knock on wood) for now.

I have cleared the cache/browser data numerous times, no change.

yes, have you got the issued fixed? If so what did you have to do?

Re: Error xacsa.xact.3322.1000136: FatalDrmError

I did some research and appearently this is being caused by Adobe Flash not being able to properly verify itself on Comcast's site.

As stated by the Comcast employee above, clearing web cache could help and reinstalling adobe could help.

This is a security error largely generated by Comcast adding backend security for marketing purposes.

From my standpoint, if clearing your web cache doesn't fix it and reinstalling Flash doesn't fix it, then you probably have better then average security on your system. It's basically telling you "This doesn't work because your secure".

Kind of a horrible position. This is on Comcast to move away from Flash to bolster the security of their customers.
