I have this problem as well. from day one. Tech did a reboot and said it would fix itself. It hasn't.
this is the full text of the error message:
Sorry, but we're not able to schedule this recording right now.
We're working on it and should have it fixed shortly.
Please try again later.
Close Error Code: RDVR-928
get a simililar message when trying to record from the guide on the tv.
For the past few weeks I get the same error rdvr-928 on both the android app TV Remote, and windows computers.
I have 2 DVRs - DCX3400 and DCH3416. Yet for the past few weeks when I log into the website on the dvr manager page from my windows computer or android tablet, it says "unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household."
I have just been waiting it out thinking it would be a temp glitch, but sadly it's still happening. I had been happily using the online DVR manager since it first was available.
I will be completely grateful if someone can figure out how to fix my problem in the above post. I was really enjoying the online dvr manager/dashboard until it suddenly started started saying I don't have a compatible dvr, when actually I have two of them.
PS, I already tried unplugging and turning off and on again the remote access setting on the boxes.
I can guarantee I have a compatible DVR (since this worked in the past) and am getting the exact same error message now when trying to schedule a recording.
Same exact message since the day we got Xfinity. It happened at our old house and is happening at the new and I too can guarantee that I have a compatible DVR. I cannot record through the Comcast TV listing site on my laptop at all. But I can do everything else including showing the DVR name on the TV from the listing site. Go figure.
After weeks of not working, the online dvr manager/dashboard has started working again for me, and I can now schedule recordings without the 928 error.
It started working again at some point over the weekend.
I have 2 DVRs and in the past, have been able to schedule recordings using my PC at work. Today, I got this error.
I just clicked on the refresh signal in my web browser & now the DVR recording was accepted.
