Error 900|101000.101002.101005

I was working fine for quite some time and now I start to receive this message again.  I have followed on the online help suggestions concerning flash, silverlight, javascript, adobe etc... and still I have issues and I have not changed anything in my environment.  I would really like some help here.  I can view things with the app on my iPad but not on my computer? Ugh this is frustrating.

Interesting.  I updated to the latest Java a couple of weeks ago but just started to have problems.

some sites seem to work, anything coming from hulu or gwb.lphbs.com will play, however videos coming from comcast itself won't play.    shortly before getting the error code 900|101000.101002.101005  it hangs waiting for a reply from  ccr.cim-jitp.top.comcast.net

How about it COMCAST JOE

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

Comcast Joe doesn't know either.  I have been on the phone with them twice over the last couple of days trying to resolve this.  I believe it is a server issue (ccr.cim-jitp.top.comcast.net).  Are any of you other posters from the NW US?  It may be regional.  The tech support guy was able to access no problem, but he is in Houston.

flash player has to be un-installed but you can't do it from windows control panel

go to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows       follow instructions then reinstall

Yep, I get the exact same errors and it freezes up at the same server ccr.cim-jitp.top.comcast.net.  Works on my work computer, but we don't have xfinity for our internet services.  Worked when I had qwest just fine. Changed to Xfinity in October but haven't tried to stream anything until this last weekend. None of the premium channels will stream, most of the live tv won't, streampix won't stream and many of the non-premium networks won't stream either.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

I don't even have Java installed on my PC and I can view programs on XfinintyTV on my PC no problem.   If I had to guess I'd say Flash or Silverlight may be where the issue lies.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

I've had this issue for over a year now. It effects both of my computers in all browsers. I have not been able to watch anything on xfinity tv online at all. Only the ads play. Then it hangs. Then this error appears. I called a couple of times. The last "tier two" representative I spoke with says it's a flash issue.

Over a year...

It's Adobe Flash. Uninstall it and re-install it. It was mentioned in earlier in this thread.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

Not true for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled flash and I get the same error.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

NOT SOLVED, actually. At least in my case. I did what you proposed and I get the same error. It didn't used to happen on my PC at all. Now it does continually.

Netflix: uses silverlight, no issues.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

has nothing to do with flash or your browser and everything to do with your internet connection, if your connection is split a half dozen times as mine is you will have this problem, if you have any sort of packet loss at all you will also have this problem.

New Poster

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

Solved! (Google Chrome)

The problem begins with google ending NPAPI plugin support for chrome versions 42 and higher, this makes paket loss percentage higher than 0% (usually a big problem). To temporarily enable this plugin follow the steps bellow.

How to temporarily enable NPAPI plugins

If you must use a NPAPI plugin, there’s a temporary workaround that will work until Chrome version 45 is released later in 2015:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the address bar at the top of the screen, type chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
  3. In the window that opens, click the link that says Enable under the Enable NPAPI flag:
  4. In the bottom left corner of the page, click the Relaunch Now button.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

I have chrome 45 dev, now i'll have to downgrade. Thanks comcast!

The answer is simple, Comcast must switch to HTML5 and all these problems go away forever!

Doesn't work. Still no real solution.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

Enabling Google Chrome NPAPI hasn't worked for me thus far. Experiencing this error for about a week now, and can only get around 20 or so minutes into a (Live TV) program until I recieve the error. Refreshing the page doesn't help; only about 5 minutes later (sometimes longer) does my program actually load again. Not soon after will I get the error once again.

Happens every channel i've played over the past week. Same symptoms. Called comcast tech support and was told that they don't diagnose online streaming or online live TV issues over the phone, but they would forward my details of the issue to another department or supervisor. Not the answer I was looking for, tech support was clueless. This is beyond frustrating comcast, don't have this issue on any other streaming service.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

Same problem whilst trying to watching the Copa America on Bein... A subscription is pay extra for.

Comcast customer service = non existant. This is not the first problem i've had with comcast, switching soon.

Comcast Joe, whats up with this error: 900|101000.101002.101005

Constantly getting this trying to stream live TV

None of the suggested fixes on this string solve the issue

Please advise!

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

The outages seem to happen in 15 minute intervals: 9, 24, 39, 54 minutes after the hour.  It doesn't seem to matter when in those intervals the video is started, the video croaks at the same times.  Also, it takes about 2 1/2 minutes to resume the video.  YMMV

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

I am having the same issues and error. It has gotten so bad now, sometimes just opening the live-tv program gives this error. live-tv is completely unusable.

And it is not my cable or network connection.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

A couple weeks ago my live stream tv wasn't working AT ALL for about 2 days. It started working again, but now I'm going through the same error and it won't even let me watch live tv at all through the computer. I didn't buy extra cable boxes because of this feature, but now I'm regretting it.....

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

I fixed my issue.

I got FiOS installed over the weekend. At least Verizon FIOS has a XBox1 app and you can stream live TV through that. Canceling Comcast today.

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

Same issue as above for the past week now(TODAY 9-14-15), I do not even attempt to call tech support since I know it's not my computer or internet connection but has to do on comcast/xfinity's end most likely their server and only admins can mess with that stuff so trying tech support is futile.

However now I am really thinking of cancelling their service since I've been paying big bucks for mediocre speed for almost over a decade and lately crashing shows/movies(useless trying to watch) and even the xfinity movies just not as bad from comcast live stream, youtube is fine and downloading media is fine.  It's the second highest bill of my household and can't even watch a few minutes of live streaming without it crashing.

xfinity/comast get your live streaming functioning properly! Sick of seeing every minute or less(literally after refreshing:

Re: Error 900|101000.101002.101005

This error has nothing to do with your browser of choice or plug ins. !st make sure that you clean out you cache history and then just disconnect you internet access and reconnect.. All in all 20 sec and you will be up and streaming your shows
