Error 6003

Error 6003

Just a few days ago I was able to watch on demand shows on my computer. Now I get error code 6003. I uninstalled silverlight and reinstalled several times. Now I get a message saying I need to upgrade silverlight. I am using Mozilla Firefox. I tried using the forums but of course the search function does not work.

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread that will tell everyone what you have installed on your computer and what version it is. 

 

make sure you are downloading silverlight from comcast not microsoft as there is a plug in required that only comes from a certain site.;

I tried the link you provided and still nothing. I either get an error message saying I need to download silverlight, or I get the message that the DRM is not checked. This is very frustrating and after reading the forums with this very same subject it is a very large problem. And still a bigger problem is no one writes back with any results.

I even tried looking for the mspr.hds file. Can't find it via programdata because even program data cannot be found.

What I really would like to know is why does it work flawlessly all this time and all of a sudden it stops. I have wasted enough time on this. Ill just watch it on my phone. At least that works. But like someone said before, paying all that money for service you cannot get is not right.
