Error 517

Error 517

Receive the following ERROR when attempting to watch online video. I installed Flash and reinstalled Flash. I am still receiving the same error.

 

  This Video Cannot Be Played

Sorry, Epic is currently unavailable.

(Error 517)

I was able to resolve this issue on my computer by completely disabling my VPN and then bringing XFTV back up.

It seems proxies may also cause this error. Did you have any luck?

I have the same issue but it's only to some videos. I don't have a VPN or proxy issues.

I had the Same problem, It took me awhile to figure it out. This is What you need to do to fix the issue.

 

1)System Restore ---"Restore it to the last time you remember your online video player worked".

 

 It takes awhile for the system restore but be patient and it will work.

 

Find your windows sytem restore directory.

I've tried system restore, reinstalling flash, watching from chrome, IE, opera and firefox. nothing works.

i don't have vpn. has anyone found another solution? i'm about ready to just cancel xfinity
